Dr. Melinda Tanzman of SUNYA, does the most complete, independent testing around. If your child is identified, the school district must pay for this testing. Either way, very worthwhile to have an outside, independent, thorough evaluation. 442-3781.

These tutors are all specialists in reading and have direct experience with GPA members.
Kari Shekhter - 439-8223. Kari is a dyslexia reading specialist who works at the BOCES SLIP program. She is currently on maternity leave but is available for tutoring.
Jeanne Caputo - 482-4874 - Jeanne is certified in teaching K-12 reading and is currently a reading teacher in a local district. She works in all aspects of reading difficulty and she will come to your home.
